Ryan is an American Production Designer and Art Director for feature films and commercials. He is a proud member of the Art Director's Guild. Visual Storytelling is his passion. He loves bringing the Director's vision to life and creating three-dimensional worlds in which the characters live and breathe.

 

Growing up in a family of builders, fixers, and problem solvers instilled a strong sense of ingenuity and critical thinking in him. Armed with these skills, in addition to a keen eye for art and design, Ryan landed the Production Designer position on a thesis film shortly after arriving in California to attend film school in 2006.

 

He continued to work on student projects then began art directing music videos and PSAs professionally while still a student. Ryan graduated in December 2008 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Film / Video Production from Brooks Institute in Ventura, CA. 

 

After graduation, he got the opportunity to Production Design DARK SECRETS, a 3D TV series for Sony/Discovery about the findings of a paranormal researcher. 

 

Ryan began designing commercial spots and music videos before moving on to feature films. Since then Ryan has production Designed and Art Directed numerous feature films, commercials, and web content in a variety of genres and budget ranges.
